When choosing an agent, there are two important questions that sellers don’t often ask:
1. “What percentage of your listings don’t sell?” Their answer will show you how effective they actually are. Oftentimes, they’ll simply share how many homes they’ve sold—not how many they’ve failed to sell.
2. “What do you do during the showing process?” You don’t want an agent who simply opens the door to your home, sits in the car, and lets buyers wander around your house. Buyers may be from other areas and have no idea about the community or neighborhood. Your agent should have a grasp on all of these things, as well as know why you purchased the home in the first place. This information all helps to connect buyers to your home.
